Jeneba Tarawally

A beloved young lady with a heart for Jesus and people, Jeneba is now in the joyful presence of her Lord and Savior, whom she loved so dearly. She was part of the Developing Global Leaders (DGL) program in Sierra Leone, an opportunity for which she was truly grateful.

"You can eat my food,” she once said, “but please give me Young Life, because I know with Young Life I have God who makes everything possible. I am grateful to God for bringing me into Young Life, because if not for DGL, I wonder how hard it would have been for me in university, (that is, if I would even have had the opportunity to attend one)."

Kevin Edelbrock, DGL director, said, “Jeneba was such a sweet soul who was so focused on the things of God and pouring into others. Please lift up our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone and Africa West.”
